Goal - Reduction of male breasts due to enlarged glandular or fatty tissue.

Surgical Technique - The gland is removed through a small incision made around the nipple, in obese patients aspiration of fat tissue is also performed with liposuction.

Duration of the procedure and type of anesthesia - The operation is performed under general anesthesia and lasts for 1-1.5 hours.

Recovery –Drains are removed after 24 or 48 hours, and sutures are removed on day 9.

Rare complications - Swelling, redness.
