Face Lifting
Goal - Tightening and lifting of the skin and musculature of the forehead, face and neck, which is often combined with correction of the eyelids.
Chin liposuction and lipofilling are interventions that can be performed in parallel.
Surgical Technique - It is performed with a cut located in the hair, immediately in front of the earlobe and behind the ear. Excess skin is removed and the subcutaneous structures, fascia and muscles are tightened (SMAS lift).
Duration of the procedure and type of anesthesia - The operation is performed under general anesthesia and lasts for about 2.5-3 hours for a complete lifting (forehead, cheeks, neck).
Recovery – You stay in the hospital for 24-48 hours, the drains are removed after 24-48 hours, the sutures on the face and the bandage are removed after 7 days, and the sutures in the hair and behind the earlobe on the 12th day.
Rare complications - Hematoma and swelling may occur depending on the size of the lifting.
