Goal - correction of the difference in the size of one breast in order to achieve symmetry of both.
Surgical Technique - In the case of breasts where the difference is not very pronounced, we achieve symmetry by placing an implant that would achieve the desired result. When it comes to a more pronounced asymmetry of one breast in relation to the other and if it is more droopy, it is necessary to carry out a lift in addition to placing an implant.
Duration of the procedure and type of anesthesia - The operation lasts for about 2 hours and is performed under general anesthesia.
Recovery - The patient remains in the hospital after the intervention for 24 hours, sutures are removed after 12 days, and the mandatory wearing of a sports bra.
Rare complications - Swelling, bloated feeling in the chest, redness around the incisions, incomplete symmetry.
