Blepharoplastica- Eyelid surgery
Goal - Excess skin, periocular muscle and fatty tissue are removed from the eyelids,and it can be performed separately or together (upper and lower lids). This is the most common aesthetic intervention on the face.
Surgical Technique - The cut is placed in the fold of the upper lid, and on the lower one under the eyelashes in the natural fold of the skin. Aesthetically, they are imperceptible after a few weeks.
Duration of the procedure and type of anesthesia - It is performed under local and general anesthesia with a duration of 30-45 minutes.
Recovery – Sutures are removed on the 7th day after surgery.
Rare complications - Swelling and slight bruising around the eyes that disappear in 5-7 days.
